Instrumentic
The workshop lived on a one-page landing where 24 “popular searches” led nowhere and a request could vanish without a trace. We built a site where every search a customer makes has a page of its own, and in September gave it a new design.
A workshop that did not exist for Google
Someone searches for “Bosch hammer drill repair in Kyiv” — and the Instrumentic workshop had one page where 24 “popular searches” all led to the same form. Search engines had no answer to show, and enquiries went by email and could vanish without a trace.
In seven days we built a site where every query has its own address: category → tool → tool and brand, 20 articles by breakdown symptom, and a “Repair by Nova Poshta” page for the whole of Ukraine. Enquiries are now stored on the server and copied to Telegram, each carrying its source.
Result: from one page to 60, all 60 addresses load without errors, and weekly clicks from Google grew from 1 to 45 in the first six weeks.
What the client came with
- The entire workshop fitted on one page. Someone searching for “Bosch rotary hammer repair in Kyiv” had nowhere to land — that page did not exist.
- The 24 “popular searches” on the home page looked like navigation, but all 24 pointed at the form at the bottom. It was text, not a route to an answer.
- A request went out as an email and nowhere else. A mail failure meant the customer wrote in and the workshop never found out.
- On a phone the menu did not physically exist: the links were hidden and the button was never added. The page stretched across fourteen screens.
Our solution
A page per search
A three-level catalog: area → tool → tool and brand. 20 equipment types, 18 brands. “Makita angle grinder repair” now lands on its own page instead of a generic form.
A blog by symptom, not by product
People do not search for “a service”, they search for their fault: “the hammer spins but does not hit”. Twenty such articles lead from the symptom to the right repair page — where there is almost no competition.
A request that cannot vanish
The form sits at the end of every article and on every device page. The request is written to a file outside the public part of the server, a copy lands in Telegram instantly, and bot spam is stopped before it is sent.
Repairs across Ukraine
A dedicated “Repair via Nova Poshta” page: how to ship a tool from any city. The workshop is in Kyiv; customers now come from the whole country.
A gate against empty pages
The full tool-by-brand matrix would produce about 300 pages differing by one word — and search engines penalise the whole site for that. A brand page goes live only once it carries real content.
A new design
In September the site got a dark header, new fonts and logo, photos of each area and review quotes. On a phone the menu has a properly sized button: too-small tap targets went from 13 down to 1 on a tool page.
You can see where each enquiry came from
Every enquiry carries its channel — ads, search, Google profile or direct — and the «Call» button has its own counter. The owner gets a short weekly summary in Telegram. In September all 18 form submissions reached the workshop; not one was lost.
Stack and decisions
The outcome
The catalog keeps growing from real search demand, not from the number of possible combinations. A brand page appears when the technician provides substance for it — otherwise it simply is not published.
