51
pages in the new design
Магнолія Авто · редизайн
The driving school’s site worked and brought enquiries, but looked like hundreds of others. We took it through eight mock-up rounds, got the homepage approved by the school — and only then moved all 51 pages to the new look.
How to change the look of a site that already sells — without breaking it
Magnolia’s site already worked: enquiries came in, Google positions grew. A redesign is a risk in that situation — you can make it prettier and lose what brings students. So we did not redraw everything at once.
First, mock-ups — eight rounds until the homepage clicked: district booking right on the first screen, a learner car and the “Maga and friends” mascots, and on mobile the “Call” and “Book” buttons always under your thumb. The school saw the new homepage on a separate address, compared it with the old one — and approved it.
Only then did the new look roll out to all 51 pages, and we checked each of the 16 page types on mobile. The design became a system — colours, fonts, blocks — so new pages come out in the same style straight away.
What the client came with
- The site sold, but looked generic — the school did not stand out among competitors.
- The redesign must not touch the enquiries and search positions that already worked.
- Almost 7 in 10 key actions came from phones — the new look had to work there first.
Our solution
8 mock-up rounds
We refined the homepage until it answered three questions: where to learn, how much it costs and how to book.
Approval before rollout
The new homepage lived on its own address next to the old one: the school compared and said “yes” — only then did we touch the rest.
Booking on the first screen
Choosing a practice district is right at the top: people see the nearest branch before they start scrolling.
The “Maga and friends” mascots
A cast of characters across the blog and licence categories makes the site memorable and takes the edge off exam stress.
Mobile-first
On phones the “Call” and “Book” buttons are always under the thumb; each of the 16 page types was checked on mobile.
Design system
Colours, fonts and blocks are collected into a system — a new page comes out on-style, without patches.
How we worked
The outcome
The new design went live on 3 October 2026 after the school’s approval. Enquiries, analytics and SEO kept running through the switch.
